Capecom Engineering is a Indian Engineering Procurement Construction & Maintenance Company with operations in India,Africa and beyond.
Our expertise in EPC spans for a period of 10 years where we have successfully executed about 5 greenfield projects in Mineral Sands, Clay and refractory sands and 3 brown field projects apart from undertaking operation and maintenance (O&M) jobs in processing and energy sectors.
CCPL has a strong technical team of engineers having more than 40 years of mineral processing and extraction expertise in the chemistry we are dealing with.
Also we have an array of efficient PhD scholars who has more than 20 years of research expertise and experience in working with some of the leading labs globally.
Further we have MoU with some of the private labs and universities who are working on similar projects. Our commercial expertise coupled with high caliber research scholars make us a unique team to connect knowledge with market requirements in a much efficient and economical way.
Our team has more than 40 years of expertise in the field of reserve estimation. Our team of Geologist and Mining Engineers are well acquainted with the latest mineral identification techniques and software’s. Our inhouse lab has the facilities to identify most of the minerals and we use a combination of Latest equipments like XRF, SEM in conjunction with age old petrological methods so that identification is done on the mineral rather than on chemical analysis alone. Our Petrologist have experience of more than 40 years in the field of mineral identification.
Our design team is one of the best in business. For new projects we undertake pilot plant studies based on our simulation to find out bottle necks in the process. For brown field projects we undertake a thorough study on the existing system to identify areas of improvement and work towards overall improvements. We leverage latest technologies like IoT and dashboard management to constantly monitor and take corrective actions on deviations on real time basis. Our team of software engineers love challenges in machine automation and controls.
Our field engineering team is highly skilled in Engineering Fabrication, Erection and commissioning of Mineral Processing, Chemical and Energy plants. We also posses the required equipment’s for carrying out these jobs and also have tieups with equipment manufacturers and dealers for specialised heavy lift equipment’s so that the project schedules are always achieved.
We undertake O&M including planned shutdown maintenance. Our team’s 30 years of experience in handling operation, R&M gives us a cutting edge over others in business. Our contacts with a wide range of equipment manufacturers helps us in procurement of the items as shortest possible time, thereby ensuring downtime is minimised.
We have a strong Vendor database. Our Vendors expert commercial team constantly interacts with our vendors and update our database so that we get quality products at market competitive price right on time.
Our expertise ranges from Conceptualizing to decommissioning. Our decommissioning and demolition expertise include Mine Closure & Process Plants. We ensure that the decommissioned area is brought back to the same RL before handing over for new construction or agriculture.
Our trade platform focuses on Minerals and process equipment’s and its accessories including material handling equipment’s. Our global procurement network ensures providing the required item strictly to the technical specification requirement of the client. We take great care in ensuring stock availability for the entire contract period so that client never faces shortage of supply.

Mining is the second oldest engineering practice mastered by humans that lead to civilizational development. Civilizations are classified based on metal use as Stone age, Iron age, bronze age, space age etc. Also its one of the most contentious engineering practise as it involves disruption of people and environment. However mining is tied to our daytoday life. Any product we use today have its origin from a mine.
The founders of CapeCom had experience of working in the mining and mineral processing industry for the past 40 years and wanted to bring a business model in the mining and processing sector which can have a net positive carbon foot print.
2005 - A half discarded mine was purchased by CapeCom and was converted into a farm.The farm organic farm products sourced from these farms are sold under the brand CapeFoods.
2011 - A zero discharge mineral separation plant was designed and installed for a private player in Tamil Nadu.
2015 - A mining and mineral Separation plant was designed for AMHL, Mozambique.
2016 - CapeCom Engineering Private Limited was incorporated as a Limited Liability Company under companies Act 2013.
2017 - Tollar Electronics, wing specialising in renewal electronics and security systems was started to supplement our requirement for renewal and security equipments for mines and processing plants.
2019 - A EPC project with zero emission and discharge was commissioned for a leading Clay mine in Tamil Nadu.
2021 - EPCM project commissioned for recovering commercial grade mineral from plant rejects was commissioned and in operation in a leading chemical company in Tamil Nadu.
2021 - A High pure silica recovery plant is being commissioned for a mining company in Gujarat.
2022 - A production line was setup in South Tamil Nadu to convert processing plant rejects into precast building blocks thereby reducing soil contamination and environmental damage.
